David Livingstone (/ˈlɪvɪŋstən/; 19 March 1813 – 1 May 1873) was a Scottish physician, Congregationalist, and pioneer Christian missionary[2] with the London Missionary Society, an explorer in Africa, and one of the most popular British heroes of the late 19th-century Victorian era. He had a mythical status that operated on a number of interconnected levels: Protestant missionary martyr, working-class "rags-to-riches" inspirational story, scientific investigator and explorer, imperial reformer, anti-slavery crusader, and advocate of commercial and colonial expansion.
His fame as an explorer and his obsession with learning the sources of the Nile River was founded on the belief that if he could solve that age-old mystery, his fame would give him the influence to end the East African Arab-Swahili slave trade. "The Nile sources," he told a friend, "are valuable only as a means of opening my mouth with power among men. It is this power which I hope to remedy an immense evil."[3]:289 His subsequent exploration of the central African watershed was the culmination of the classic period of European geographical discovery and colonial penetration of Africa

Gladstone was born in Liverpool to Scottish parents. He first entered the House of Commons in 1832, beginning his political career in the Conservative Party as a High Tory. Gladstone served as a minister in both of Robert Peel's governments, and in 1846 joined the breakaway Peelite faction, which eventually merged into the new Liberal Party in 1859. He was Chancellor under Lord Aberdeen (1852–1855), Lord Palmerston (1859–1865), and Lord Russell (1865–1866). Gladstone's own political doctrine—which emphasised equality of opportunity, free trade, and laissez-faire economic policies—came to be known as Gladstonian liberalism. His popularity amongst the working-class earned him the sobriquet "The People's William".

Belshazzar's Feast is a painting by Rembrandt housed in the National Gallery, London.[1] The painting is Rembrandt's attempt to establish himself as a painter of large, baroque history paintings.[2][3] The date of the painting is unknown, but most sources give a date between 1635 and 1638.[
The story of Belshazzar and the writing on the wall originates in the Old Testament Book of Daniel.[1] The Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar looted the Temple in Jerusalem and has stolen the sacred artefacts such as golden cups.[5] His son Belshazzar used these cups for a great feast where the hand of God appeared and wrote the inscription on the wall prophesying the downfall of Belshazzar's reign.[5] The text on the wall says "mene, mene, tekel, upharsin". Biblical scholars interpret this to mean "God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end; you have been weighed in the balances and found wanting; your kingdom is given to the Medes and Persians".[1]
The inscription on the wall is an interesting element in this painting. Rembrandt lived in the Jewish Quarter of Amsterdam and "derived the form of Hebrew inscription from a book by his friend, the learned Rabbi and printer, Menasseh ben Israel, yet mistranscribed one of the characters[6] and arranged them in columns, rather than right to left, as Hebrew is written."[2][7] This last detail is essential as it relates to the question of why Belshazzar and his advisers were not able to decipher the inscription and had to send for Daniel to help them with it.[8] The biblical story does not identify the language of the cryptic message, but it is generally assumed to be Aramaic, which, like Hebrew, is written in right-to-left rows, and not in right-to-left columns as in the painting. Either one man or a larger group of gunmen, depending on various accounts, entered the church seeking a specific individual described in media reports as a local drug baron, after looking for him at his home and being informed he was at Mass.
That man was shot and then a rampage ensued, with indiscriminate fire directed at the roughly 100 worshippers on hand. According to media accounts, several people were killed in the church while others who were critically injured died on the way to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital located in Nnewi, the second largest city in the state.
According to observers who say there were multiple shooters, they also described the gunmen as having their faces covered.

Umar also said police believe the shooting spree originated in a quarrel between two residents of Ozubulu residing overseas.
In the immediate wake of the attack, some Nigerian observers wondered if there might have a political subtext to the act, since a Pentecostal church in the state was recently stormed by young protestors objecting to an appearance by a gubernatorial candidate.
Those youth were members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, a movement advocating stronger autonomy for the people of the country’s eastern regions. It recalls a secessionist state of Biafra that existed from 1967 to 1970, before being suppressed by the Nigerian military during the Biafra Civil War.
Others, however, suspect the violence on Sunday is related to the local drug trade.
Willie Obiano, the governor of Anambra state, visited St. Philip Catholic Church on Sunday after the attack and vowed that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
Police were at pains to stress this was not a Boko Haram attack in part because the terrorist group has become infamous for its assaults on churches, especially on Sundays and major feast days such as Easter and Christmas.
Overall, the radical Islamic group born in the country is believed to be responsible for more than 20,000 deaths. However, the heavily Igbo southeastern part of the country has never been among its strongholds.

An alternate PCB defines a logical terminal and can be used instead of the I/O PCB when it is necessary to direct a response to a terminal. Alternate PCBs appear in PSBs used in a CICS®-DBCTL environment, but are used only in an IMS™ DC environment. CICS applications using DBCTL cannot successfully issue commands that specify an alternate PCB, an MSDB PCB, or a GSAM PCB. However, a PSB that contains PCBs of these types can be scheduled successfully in a CICS-DBCTL environment.
Alternate PCBs are included in the PCB address list returned to a call level application program. In an EXEC DLI application program, the existence of alternate PCBs in the PSB affects the PCB number used in the PCB keyword.
